Peanut butter, and hair colour?

I have had a love hate relationship with peanut butter for as long as I can remember. At home, it reminded me of my siblings. At boarding school, it saved me from having to eat liver – aaah. And I crossed the US with … guess what … peanut butter.

So when I was finding that I was requiring a third of a tub a day, I decided enough was enough.

Through muscle testing (kinesiology) I found out two things about me and peanut butter.

First, that my addiction to peanut butter was running at 8 out of 10. No big surprise there. Further testing suggested an emotional remedy to do with “adaptation.”  In the past, I certainly struggled to adapt to new situations and my way of coping was to reach for the peanut butter pot and stick my paws right in. Using some energy work, I cleared the addiction by rebalancing the stomach and bladder meridians. The whole procedure took less than 15 minutes.

Second, that I was craving it because of a nutritional deficiency. But I didn’t get this on the first time through. The craving disappeared for a good half a day and then, out riding. Boom. Back again. Not a third of a tub, this time, more like just a few little teaspoons, piled up as high as I could get them …

Our bodies are remarkable things. They know what they need and they try every which way to communicate this with us according to what they can get their hands on. This time, the testing showed up that I was missing manganese. Which is in peanut butter. But instead of exhausting the world resources of peanut butter, testing showed I could address this need much more easily and efficiently with some romaine lettuce (that, interestingly, I had also been craving lately), combined with 3 leaves of spinach, twice per day for two days.
